Making Progress

Textured up the dock a little bit. But it's time to go to the gym now. This project is just now starting to come together, I think. I'm looking forward to the plans I have for the bridge.

Still a few textures to be added to the dock.

Not much...


So not much has changed that you can see. I've been re-sorting UV maps on objects to prepare for texturing. Tonight after I return from some errands I'm going to work on getting the dock textured, I should update the blog with that tonight.

Textures starting

Just started getting some textures going. The main concrete stuff has just now been started and I'm going to make them look much better than it is right now. Going to get some more of the props textured as well.

Splash Damage Art Test



So I've been working on a couple of projects over here. I just started on one today, I'm basing it on the Splash Damage Environment Artist test which you can find here:


A lot of 3D artist all over the net have done this art test, whether they were applying at Splash Damage or not because it works so well as a benchmark for creating art for games. And it's a simple project that can be done fairly quickly.
